The wife and I will be visiting Scottsdale for a long weekend in march (mid march).
Any recommandations for a hotel?
Things to do?
Do I need a car to get around?
Arizona visit?

Ice Den in Scottsdale is the best ice around here. Mullet arena also has some times for pickup but I don't know details. You definitely will need a car to get around unless you want to drop money on taking Uber everywhere. Enjoy

if you have time, drive up to the Grand Canyon. it's about 3.5 hours but absolutely incredible.
Scottsdale is full of impressive resorts but note that most places down there will sneak in a "Resort Fee".
always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

I ended going to see a Coyotes game at Mullet.
Even if it makes no sense to have an NHL team play there, I must say it was a cool experience to watch NHL hockey in there.
