just purchased a bauer acp pro girdle size xl 
do large bauer shells work? or should i go size for size?

 

i remember the 9k if you sized down it fit better

size for size is the standard but depending on your body and the fit you prefer you could size down too (I never sized down with the 9K or Super Tacks, found the mediums fit my medium shells best).  Also you can use any brand shell, you're not limited to Bauer, no need to use anything other that the shell belt to keep the shell up (the 9K shells work just fine if you still have any).  I've had a few retail Bauer girdle shells over the years and found they ran a little smaller than the CCM/Warrior counterparts, although the CCM tacks shells do seem to be a little narrower than the older 9K style ones, and the newest Warrior Covert pro stock shells floating around are def smaller than their old ones.  The easy solution is to buy as many as possible haha, it's addicting.
