I am going through Montreal in august and was curious of places to buy gear in town. Suggestions please

If you are looking for pro stock, Sports Rousseau St-Hubert (south shore) as some sticks and maybe some gloves. In the south shore Candiac, you also have Hockey Supremacy, they are more stock in their store then on their website. But overall it is a huge store. Also, Sports Rousseau Laval, I think it's bigger. But for theses places, you have to cross bridges. I lived 13 years in Montreal, and sometimes with the construction and traffic, it can be a nightmare to leave the island for something. There is always something close somewhere. But I think Sports Rousseau Charlemagne can be a good option too. In Montreal Island, there is Hockey Monkey, and a Hockey Expert in Kirkland but it's is small. A couple of years ago, they had a lot of pro stock but not anymore. There is also, La poubelle du Ski that had an interesting selection of pro stock by the past, but there opening hour are really wierd and maybe it's close for the summer. There might be something cool somewhere else, but in the major biggest store you will find more thing and get sometime suprises.

I'll second those recommendations, I live on South Shore of Mtl and have a pretty easy drive to both Supremacy & Rousseau St Hubert......I would suggest subscribing to the Supremacy e-mail notifications, they put out some good 15-20% off stuff, last minute notifications.  Plus they get some good stick clearances in store,  usually they have some Pro sticks on their racks.

 

There is also a Sport aux Puce on Rt 132 in  St Constant not far from Supremacy that usually has a pretty good stock.

They currently have some Bauer and Sherwood pro stock gloves, pants and sticks.
