Do you guys know which pro stock CCM model fits most relaxed in the backhand and cuff (all in a 14)?

I’ve read all the different threads on here and on Reddit/MSH etc and opinions seem to be all over the map. I recently had a pair of 97s in a 13 that actually felt really short and snug against the back of my hand despite 4 rolls having a reputation of being a looser fit. Always primarily been a Warrior glove guy but with their quality having gone down the drain I’m contemplating a switch to some CCM models.

Thanks in advance all!

I can’t speak as to the non-4 roll style gloves but the CCM 4R gloves are snug like first gen Warrior Alphas so you can eliminate that model from your list.

Custom everything.

Jetspeeds are definitely the tightest. Tacks are snug but do have a bit of room in the backhand for me. Hg97s are quite snug for 4rolls. If you're looking for looser 4roll gloves then Bauer is the widest around these days,

Thanks guys. Sounds like HGTK might be the best option. Bauer 4 rolls are too loose and feel like a giant square. My ideal is the Franchise but I’m giving up on finding those.

14" Tacks sounds like your best bet. I have a hard time wearing any other 14" gloves, but I can make 14" Tacks work.

"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

What size would you wear in Franchise?

13N. CCM 13s my fingers poke through the ends of the gussets in just about every model so unless I got lucky with a pro build where the guy had 13s with extended fingers 14 is probably the right move.

Ya I hear that. What was your opinion with vapor? The other option you might want to consider is Eagle Aero

I find Vapors to be too tight in the backhand as well. Should also note I’m not a fan of cutting liners out to compensate.

Gotcha. I would give a look at Eagles honestly, Aero is more snug and has decent finger length

For non-4 roll models I’ve found HG12s to be roomy in the hands, the cuffs are another story.

That’s what I’ve read about the HG12s as well - never had a pair and the black 13s always seem to escape me.

I’d give the HG12 a go, personally. 13” pop up in spurts, but I personally never found a massive difference between the 14” and 13” anyway.

I’ll keep a lookout thanks dude. HGTK 14s are a bit too long.

I agree. I always found 14” Tacks fit longer in the fingers

Sort of related to this one - have any of you guys worn both the HGTK and fixed cuff QRL? Trying to gauge how they fit relative to one another.

Tacks are longer in the fingers, narrower in the fingers and a bit more room in the back hand. I have to remove backhand pads in qre/l but not in tacks

I found the HGPJS fingers too long , when the HGTK & HG97's finger length were not too long.

I’m having similar findings that are driving me nuts. Tried 13” HGPJS that the fingers were perfect but palms a little small. 14” HGPJS fingers too long and overall glove too big/loose. 13” HG97 palms are perfect but fingers way too short. Decided to try a Warrior 13” Alpha 20 (DX), fingers and palms perfect but gloves are just way too wide/loose. I just ordered a pair of 14” HG97 but I have a feeling the overall glove is going to be too long. Considering trying out the 13” Warrior QRE. Wish I could somehow have the 13” HG97 modified with 14” palms/gussets, feel like that might be a perfect fit for me.

I actually went through the exact same ridiculous search a few years back. 13” Jetspeed were tiny in the actual palm, 14” felt massive to me, 14” tacks felt sloppy at best, but I never bothered to try a 13” tacks. For what it’s worth, I found the 14” HG97 to fit pretty well.
