Just a fun topic, and personal preference. I've been absent here for a bit , but want to be more active on the site. It's been done before, but wanted to see where everyone is now. Top 3 in the post. Fit, durability/longevity, and sty.

1. Bauer 8090
2. Bauer 1X 2.0
3. Bauer One95

1. Easton Mako II - The best performing skates for me. They're my favorite overall skates due to foot wrap, comfort, and performance. Not the most durable skates, so I try my best to keep them maintained.  Easton Mako M7 & M8 included.

2. CCM Ribcor 70K - The overall most comfortable skates for me. They're a bit clunky and not as form-fitting as the Makos or True Catalyst, but they're super comfortable and perfect for stick time and pond hockey.

3. True Catalyst Pro - These are a great mix of performance and comfort. Durability seems to be a bit weak, but I added shot blockers to mine which helps a lot.

4. True Hzrdus Pro

5. CCM Ribcor 80K

Honorable mentions that I own or have owned in the past, but don't quite make the top 5: CCM Ribcor 90K, Graf 9035, Reebok 11K.

"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

You're not wrong. If I could've taken this skate, with an 8090 fit. That would be it.

The Air Accel Elite from ‘97 or the original design from ‘96 that he hated?

I really liked the 2nd gen Bauer X900 from 2017 or so. Simple looks, solid boot, super durable (for me). Now I like the fit of True skates although durability and looks are questionable. I forget the model names, but I had a pair of Bauer Supremes that had a blue X on the bottom of midsole and CCM Tacks with kevlar and a white strap looking thing that wrapped around the back that I always liked the looks of.

Micron Mega Air 90's and Graf 705's for me.  Modern skates are all amazing but those two from the mid 90's will always have a special place in my heart.
