Hey folks, does anyone know the type of hockey lace that looks especially wide?  I really like the way they look..Pettersson seems to use them, among others.  I use waxed laces, so I'm hoping there is a wide version of these some place.  Any insight is appreciated.  Secondarily, what laces do you use and why?  I'm using the Howie's waxed lace and they're just fine for me.

Got pics of these ultra wide laces? All I can picture is the stupid fat laces I wore on my adidas shell toes in the 90’s.

I use Elite laces. Unwaxed because I don’t like the feel of waxed laces and don’t have problems with them coming loose

I have found that a lot of brands that look wide in the box or when loose on the skate actually thin out quite a bit when tied. I’m like you, I prefer a wide and sturdy lace. Howies-unwaxed, personally, have been the best fit for that.

Thnx for the feedback, gents.  From that Redwings equipment manager youtube video that was shared..it looks like Tex Style 2000 MT are what lots of them seem to use.
