so from the pic it looks like it's NOT a fully wrap girdle because I don't see any velcro between the waist and thighs?

From what I've heard it's essentially the 9K with improvements and a wrap front. The 9K has remained unchanged since its inception.

Looks like. On every page of sticks, only 4 curves are present, and they are the ones pictured above.

Used to use the p19, I now have the p29 and like it much better. Larger blade and curve seem to allow for easier use when stock handling or flipping pucks. That being said, I haven't tried the p19 since to compare

Yeah flip12 it doesn't appear closed at all, looks as open as the P29

It's not as open as a P28, but I wouldn't call it fully closed, having seen it and used it.
