I'm honestly not sure. I read somewhere on MSH that the C versus the L cut had an influence on the forward flex of a skate. I'd be interested to hear from someone who knows. My favorite skates are 703's, with a similar C-cut, but with that lower and more flared cut at the top of the boot.

Not NHL (AAA team Penguins Elite) but I think this is the first time I've seen team logos on a non-Warrior or non-Bauer glove. Looks dope. Might have to hunt down a pair of those and make a Pens set.

Ive never seen any other CCM custom glove with team logo's. This is either a new option from CCM which I haven't heard about or the logo's were heat pressed on afterwards.

I thought that might be the case, too, but I didn't see any other gloves from other brands with the logo (aside from the Bauer Vapor Pro Team variants) and if it was an iron-on patch, wouldn't it make sense for the team to give them to all the players so even those with non-team issue gloves have the patch?

Anyway, here's another pic of the gloves.


Here's a DICK'S Sporting Goods fitting booth I found on their Twitter, you can see that the glove mockup even has the logo. Isn't really efficient for the team to have a glove fitting if they were just going to buy the retail colorway and put a patch on afterwards.

@CCM team logos: local pro hockey team (Austria, Europe) has had the CCM gloves with stitched logo since last season. It is quality stitching, done directly with CCM. I can take a pic of the gloves next time I'm in the shop if requested.
