Cant you cut the visor? Like so it does not come to your mouth. I curved wood blades before.

Does anyone know what curve that is similar to? The custom curve I did. I really like the curve, I feel my shots are better they go top shelf.

Curving wood blades is fun, I have a very specific technique on how I do mine.

I would love to send a copy to have blades made.

When I was just getting into the composite sticks, I used to buy the reebok 3k blades with the modano pattern and add a toe kink and throw those on CNT shafts.

How do you guys curve the wooden blades? I tried using a torch one time, ruined the blade. Should I use a heat gun instead?

Started out as a retail Getzlaf:

I worked it down to this:

Couldn't get rid of the heel curve as much as I wanted to. Then I apparently wanted more toe than the blade could give me, snapped the toe right off.

Use a heat gun, keep it on low and move it around the blade, use a thick towel to curve, then leave the blade in ice/cold water.

I used my torch cause I don't have a heat gun, it worked well, but it started to overheat the laminate. Thats probably why I ended up snapping off the toe and not being able to curve it how I wanted, couldn't warm up the wood well enough.
