Theoretically, if it is true that no two G3s are alike, two G3s for two players in the same flex can feel like two different flex ratings? Or are the flex profiles of G3s all the same, but the materials used in the construction can be different?

From what I understand, players can have different flexes for three different areas of the shaft. The can make the middle stiffer, taper whippier, etc, etc. It allows them to adjust how a stick flex profile feels. So yes, two 85 flex G3's may feel different. That's why people who say the Nexus retail is the G3 pro is wrong. Sure, one pro might use the setup Bauer took to retail for the Nexus, but that doesn't mean they are all the same.

That's what I've gathered at least.

alright let me elaborate once more here on this topic.

G3 is G3... Stamkos G3 is same as Ovi G3 is same as Gagne's G3

G3 is a custom flex profile that is different/unique... it has a whippy top portion, stiff middle, whippy lower portion... offering a unique pop

G3 is not varied by each players specs... all the players that use G3 are using the same flex profile.

the only thing you can change is the blade type (one95 is most common)

all G3 sticks will perform the same... G3 is not comparable to anything at retail level.

Nexus is a true mid-kick... G3 is not.

Always thought pros can choose there flex points, etc. I guess not thanks for posting that caps!

Is one95 still a blade option for them to chose? So future G3s with a NXG paint job could have a one95 blade? If so, I know what I'm looking for next.
