I think so also. I gt that and Rbz at 1 and 2. I always have both wit me everytime I skate. Really great sticks

I also like the MAKO, but I've shot with several G3 sticks for a while now not knowing the difference, when I got my Nexus 1000 I fell in love all over again.

Questions 'bout dat RBZ, does it shoot similarly?
He shot at the 2 hole....that's what she said

I find they don't shoot the same and my shot is better with a G3, to each his own

Hahaha I'm so mind fucked right now

Pros can get 4 sticks (really, 4 shafts)
NXG
APX
G3
Nexus.
And a myriad of blades. The assumption was all pro G3s would instead be Nexus now, but that has not been the case.
A lot of the old sticks, (One95, One90, X:60, you get the idea) are available to pros, but the point is, the G3 is a unique stick, which happens to be very similar to the Nexus, but not the same.

The flex profile is the same, construction is different.

G3 is made out of a 12k weave
Nexus is made out of textreme

That's what i mean. The carbon used and also commonly the blade are different, but the flex profile is the same.

I'm just putting it out there so people know the difference.

Total Ones (O33 & O44) - made just like retail version, same weave, etc. (O33 has been said to be a more sturdy built "European" TotalOne model, same concept as if you see "SE" printed somewhere on the shaft)

Nexus ( ? ) - don't know the code for this

NXG ( ? ) - don't know the code for this

G3 (G3) - When you see "G3" think of it as a blank stick with no graphics... from my understanding, Bauer uses the G3 model to give pros EXACTLY what they want in regards to flex profile.

For the record, pro totalones with o33 and o44 dont come with the little grip squares on the corners of the shafts.

I've seen a few Nexus' painted as APX's, code for them was NEXUS (unless it'll change now that the stick is actually out)

All G3's have the same flex profiles, but come in a variation of flexes like other sticks.

If it's a brayden schenn stick, he uses something close to a p88 (unless he changed)

Bumping an old thread so I don't have to create a new one.

If you had an APX, G3 and NXG/T1 of the same flex, where would the G3 fall in terms of how stiff it feels?

While the APX would feel the stiffest, where would the other two rate?

The rumour is Simon Gagne helped develop the G3 with Bauer.
