9 seems quite late, and the fan fest is from 3-7 so my guess would be the public would be at 6-7 to end the event but we will see what the Caps announce hopefully soon

You will receive a confirmation email on Friday, June 23 containing further information about the sale, including your assigned time slot for the event. If you are not able to attend one of the sessions, the equipment sale will be open to the general public beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27. Due to construction on the parking garage there will be very limited parking. We encourage all fans to use public transportation.
