Naw they look fine..
When i had my 9K girdle i wore padded lowers and it was fine..
I'm the same way with my 8K pants i find them to look bulky on me for some reason but they aren't make me look like i have a fat ass

So I skated for the first time with my 9k upper parts (just took the legs off) and put the Michigan lowers on... AMAZING. If you're reading this and don't have a 9k girdle I strongly recommend it and the lowers are awesome on it. So much freedom to move and they sit perfectly on the hips, I could go on and on. Also the protection is great, I took a nice spill and didn't even feel it on the butt haha

And they didn't look weird at all with the shin pads and socks on

Well it still looked like I have no ass but all the protection is totally worth it haha... Actually when I bend to take face-offs it makes an appearance but that hardly counts.

Still love my girdle... Another question for you guys, how do you put on your bottom gear? I do girdle top first then velcro the socks on. Next comes the lowers then skates (feel like I'm a goalie again haha) and shins, pulling the socks over when it's all on.

Anyone do anything different?

well i have the shell on mine. so i put on the jock, garder belt, girdle with shell, attach socks to garder belt, put on the skates and shin pads (i wear them on top of the skates).

Shins, then socks, tape the socks , jock, girdle, shell.

Cup,jock,socks, then put my shins into my socks,pull socks over and Velcro,pants or girdle,then skates and then tape my socks/shins.

yuuup! i put the socks on, attach them to the top, pull them up, place my shin on and pull the socks back on top

I saw a couple video of NHL guys doing it that way so i decided to try it and it works great!

I like to get my shins on first to get them exactly where I want them. Been doin it for so long it just wouldnt feel right any other way lol

Shins are always the last thing to go on for me, not sure why but it just feels more comfortable I guess

The 6070 has no straps. So I put the socks on. Then put the shins in the socks ya know and pull the socks up? I dont know. It works haha.

Same for my 8k no straps. Use lots of tape lol

It's like this: Underarmour, then cup, then socks, then skates, then shins, then girdle, then shell. I have a full wrap girdle, so it makes it easier, but I still did it this way when I was wearing pants. Just undid the leg zippers.

I got 6070s too and went and picked up these Reebok straps from Total Hockey. I think they are intended to go over the sock, but I use them as shin straps. Keep my shins super tight and along with sock tape it's like they are glued to my legs
