First I talk to Warrior and tell them exactly what I am looking to do. When I get a final plan set with them, I go to Icewarehouse and build the glove on the customizer as close as possible and put something in the comments section about those special alterations I'm looking for. The simple fact is that IW just collects money from you and pays Warrior whatever their price is on the gloves. That is the extent of their involvement. Once you order with IW and pay them, they will contact Warrior and tell them the order is a "GO". You can also choose to contact Warrior again and let them know the same thing.
I've never had a problem...... and I think I'm on my 7th or 8th pair of customs now.
edit: also, I think you get 10% or 15% off if you are a member of their forum.

I talked to Joe about what I wanted as far as colors, options, alterations, shit like that. Built the gloves on Warrior's page, put in the comments what I wanted once more. Total Hockey played middle man with collecting money and confirming the build. Simple as that.

Also...I looked into the IW discount and it was only if I bought some merch - anyone know any other discounts...at IW or elsewhere?

Don't know total price now. Last time I ordered, it was at the old (cheaper) price. I think it was around $220 for a pair with all the good shit on them (plastics, Palms, etc.)
