Hey Guys,

I just picked up some sticks the other day and was wondering if anyone could tell me what these codes mean? I'm assuming its something to do with pattern and flex but just wondering how to break it up.

CCM: SK-11 35KP
S13169-01

Reebok: 1286
TLL
Tr
090
1138L
A1

SK-11 is the curve code on the CCM. 35KP refers to flex. I'm not 100% what the exact standard flex number is to convert to though. The rest is likely a production code.

Your Reebok:

TTL: Stick construction. This construction is meant to give the stick a similar kick and feel to an S19. TAPER LITE - Constant top half with a drastically softer taper & kick point.
Tr: Shaft geometry. Tr means it has slightly concave walls.
090: That is the flex. Your stick is a 90 flex.

I don't know the other two codes on the Reebok.

Awesome. Thanks for the input!!. I was thinking on the CCM that the 35KP would mean something towards KickPoint but I wasn't 100% sure.

Nah, it was a strange way they used to mark their flex. According to this chart here: http://www.modsquadh...s/FlexChart.htm -- That CCM is a 75 flex.

I honestly think Rbk/CCM did it like this:
35KP x 2 = 70 +10= 80 Flex
40KP x 2 = 80 +10= 90 Flex
45KP x 2 = 90 +10= 100 Flex

I remember reading this awhile back about their flex ratings...pretty odd.

Edit* just looked at MSHs flex chart, numbers aren't exact, but it's close and you get the idea.

My new stick code has this on it:

RS PRO II GR 85 E3 L

I'm thinking I know pretty much everything except for the E3. Does anyone know what it means?

I'm pretty sure Easton has changed their curve codes from P# to E#. So if it's a straight retail curve, it would be whatever curve is their E3 curve, which IIRC would be a Sakic curve.

Good call. Although it looks with the naked eye a Sakic curve it's not quite like the retail. Weird eh?

Ya it looks like a Sakic but when u put the retail blade with the pro blade it's different. Weird eh?

Pick from this list essentially to see what you think would work best since everyone has their own opinion of what could work for them.

* FUSE CONSTANT (FC) - Constant stiffness with a stiffer kick point.
* FUSE VARIABLE (FV) - Constant top half, stiffer mid section with a softer taper & kick point.
* SPEAR CONSTANT (SC) - Softer top, slightly stiffer mid section with a stiffer kick point. (Not Available in 'T' geometry)
* SPEAR VARIABLE (SV) - Constant top half, stiffer mid section with softer taper & kick point.
* SPEAR STRAIGHT (SS) - Constant stiffness from top to bottom. (Available in 'TR' geometry only)
* DUAL DENSITY (DD) - Constant top half with the siffest mid section, taper & kick point. (Same flex profile as SE16, 'TR' geometry only)
* TAPER LITE (TL or TTL) - Constant top half with a drastically softer taper & kick point. (Same flex profile as S19, 'TR' geometry only)

Those are my prefs as well. Keep in mind that FV would also work for you. The difference between FV and SV is the way the blade is connected to the shaft. If you were to break the blade and want to salvage the shaft to make a shaft/blade combo, it would be easier on an FV stick.

I believe that is just a serial number. The codes for the stick itself are in the namebar.

For your other question, I've never used a true APX so I can't comment on it, but the S19 loads quite nicely.

Hmmm seems odd bc he said he has had the x60 for a couple of years now. Weird that an X60 R32 from so long ago would be a Nexus
