I believe he'll make the team. the next best set of mitts on that team is Versteeg. Thats not saying too much in my opinion. Kovalev has unreal hands. I agree with theruz23, power play will probably be where he gets most of his play time

Anyone who thinks he doesn't make this team needs to do research. Florida needs to make the cap floor, they aren't deep. May as well bring in a vet for a year and pay him a few million to reach there.
