I have a good friend that has used the Gaborik(Yzerman, Coffey, or whatever name you want to give it) for years. Recently can only find lower end Sherwood sticks locally with this and is unhappy with how limited his selection is. Does anyone have any advice on a good curve pattern to switch too, either retail or pro stock, or maybe a newer version that is out on the market right now? He tried an Iginla for 3 or 4 skates and couldn't get used to the shot he got out of it.

I just started using a Landeskog from CCM. It's not the exact same, but it's still pretty hooky with a closed face - like the Coffey.
