I haven't been looking very hard, but I've never seen these 'Canes third socks online anywhere.  Brand new, but they're XL+, so I'll have to see how they fit.

 

 

Now I just need a jersey and helmet for the set.

I unfortunately dont notice anything beneficial performance wise from it....but it makes me feel cool when i stare at it on the bench before jumping on lol

What is the supposed advantage of have the shaved heel?  I have a couple Scheifele's and Perry's twigs and both use that shaved heel, but I can't tell the difference on the ice...

Theres no difference, its just supposed to get around the measuring gauge and make them legal while maintaining the huge curve.  Im pretty sure the kovy pro(scheifele) and the perry are both legal now under the 3/4" rule but im guessing it came in handy when the 1/2" was around

Haven't posted pickups in forever.  These were 3 recent ones...Getzlaf's WCH Warrior Covert QR, Teemu's Jets Alumni Game stick, and BU's Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson's Ovi clone.  The lie on the Getzy is crazy, the dude must stand straight up when playing because I'm short, and even with 3" cut off, I can't use it.  Pretty sure the Teemu was just made as an SMU for PSH because it doesn't look like my other Teemu patterns, but the colors were awesome and it was a flex and curve I use.  The JFK stick is wild, took a lot of getting used to, supposed to be like an Ovi, but it's a little bit different....
