One week, a few months ago, two guys showed up to a private skate I have been going to for a few years. One of the guys was an original and brought his buddy. His buddy was wearing a NY Rangers Stadium Series shell. I asked him were he got it and the other mentioned how he has one too and he doesn't like it and he would just give it to me for free. I got all excited. One piece I have been desperately looking for (after I just got the practice jersey from that game) and here this guy will give it to me for free. He check his storage at home and two of his shops and couldn't find it. Said his sister-in-law must have donated it to Goodwill because he remembers her cleaning out their shared storage and taking a bunch of stuff there, including some brand new Tackla pants he bought for himself to eventually replace his current pair when they wear out.

Dupes - Yes, NCAA Div 1. They play in the WCHA. Same as Ferris State, Alaska Anchorage, Michigan Tech, and Bowling Green to name a few more well known hockey programs.

I didn't love the Islanders third logo when it first came out on their stadium series but it grew on me, gonna be sad to see it go. Had to pick up a practice jersey to add to the collection.
