Haha that’s funny. My buddy got to do the yotes rookie camp as an invite player and he said all the guys tried taking the gloves/helmets and jerseys but the equipment staff was on them as soon as they were off the ice to return the team issued stuff.

It’s probably different for rookie camp invitees and guys who played there for years though. The Yotes don’t make enough money to be handing out gear left and right maybe lol

I know they made him give back his jersey when they traded him mid game, whereas before they let them leave with their jersey. Afterwards Molson sent him and a bunch of others their jerseys with a apology letter. Unless there’s more...

He asked the team that traded him midgame to let him keep his jersey, cause he has a collection from all the teams he has played for. The habs refused and told him he could pay for it. Cammy told Molson to basically go fuck himself with that apology, he was seriously pissed off

I remember when the leafs were drafting that year and Babcock was high on trying to get strome cause of his size and that he played center. Instead we got marner cause the yotes took him and cause hunter was pushing for him. I’d say we didn’t do so bad. Thank you to the coyotes once again.
