How long did it take to get them?

Customs? Or are these Lindblom's? (he's the only flyer I can think of in 1S who might be a 13')

 

Customs from CPR. Only Giroux & Laughton rock orange palms on the team. Lindblom wears 14"

Finally found an Ohio State helmet

But in reality nice pickup, love the look of the Ohio State helmets, very iconic same as the winged Michigan buckets. I'm sure finding a Michigan hockey helmet is the same as you trying to find an OSU one.

 

Are the OSU helmets painted with the stripe or is it hand done with tape? I know the wings on the Michigan helmets are done on a plain blue helmet with maize electrical tape since I believe having the wings done with paint would lower the integrity of the plastic and make them less safe

It looks like a decal, you can see some bubbles on the front of the helmet

cjprit is correct, it is a decal. Albeit, it's a single decal (black, white and red aren't individual decals, or layered. There's a number decal on the back and a decal of the Ohio state flag. The number decal was removed from the front (noticed sticky residue). 

 

Most teams that I know of use decals. The only one that I am aware of are the Notre Dame helmets. They are hydro-dipped which is a very popular option for football helmets these days.

 

I saw one or two UM helmets flying around. They recently had an auction for their outdoor gear along with any surplus they had.

Back when Michigan had the Easton E700 helmets, the wings/stripes were part of the finish on the helmet. Since they've been back to Bauer, tho, they are back to having decals. They're not really duct tape and actually have some blue on them at the tip of the wing.
