Connections. I work for a Pro team and know a few other ones.
They sell the velcro ones in some stores.

They also sell regular tacks AS1 retail pants without velcro.

If anyone is looking to get the new tacks 910 helmet, think twice and make sure to try it on.
Most Pro players had to down size into a smaller size.
And a few even refused to wear them.

Yea, I wear a Small v08, Medium Resistence and a Small 910. I hate how they make them all fit different lol

The Whale to me is still the Right Bauer of all sets....I know a guy with one but from the 80's or 90's...Cooper XL7 helmet and the whole deal...

Not Dupes, But.....

AS1 is more protective, has adjustable and stronger spine/back/hip protection.
It’s slightly wider as well, and I find it being a pant that feels taller from the waiste and up sommaren to the HP45/CL pants.

HP45 is way more flimsy. But Classic and light weight (not that AS1 is heavy, they’re rather the opposite).


IMO:
Jetspeed = AS1 >> HP45 = New Jetspeed girdle > Old tacks girdle.

How do the AS1 pants fit when compared to Bauer Nexus pants? Sometimes CCM pants run a little tighter in the waist and shorter. Just trying to figure out what I would need size wise. Thanks!

Nothing really compares to nexus, Maybe the Old reebok stuff protection wise.

AS1 feels like a supreme pant to me. Equal fit and equal protection. I would go with either one, I don’t hold any over the other. If you get a good deal or got a preference with bauer or CCM, I would get the prefered brand.

Sorry I have zero idea how to attach photos. I’m on mobile and am having issues.

So I got these CCM HGCL and they said they were from the blackhawks. But I don’t think they are.
-they do have the old logo colour way
-NO CCM PRO on the bottom
-they aren’t retail, no U+CL on the side and the palm is definitely pro stock
-lock thumb
-mesh gussets with solid Nash tip
-just says the 13” 34cm in the inside.
-plastic inserts
-no retail model has this colour way according to their old catalogs in any model.

I’ve found similar looking gloves from the hawks but it says CCM pro and the red part where it normally says U*CL is black.

Any idea what these are

Those look like CHL gloves to me. I've owned a few similar CL U+ in the past, including Niagara Ice Dogs & St. John Sea Dogs.

i thought chl gloves had the Kevlar wear patch? I almost bought sea dog ones (these were cheaper and never owned CLs to try) but definitely could be. I’ve been trying to find the matching colourway.

The Ice Dogs used different color combos with CL’s and now basically every player uses an HGTK glove. Same shoes for the Portland Winterhawks

The Hawks and Icedogs both used this colorway in the past.

^^^If you look at this image, you can see that the gloves are pretty much identical(they even have the red inner liners, and a red leather portion where "U+CL" would be embroidered on a retail pair), except for the fact that they say "CCM Pro" on the undercuff near the palm, instead of just "CCM", like on Mdwsta4's pair.

 

This is intriguing to me since every Pro Stock NHL/AHL CL that I have owned has "CCM Pro" on it. The exceptions being a pair of Connecticut Whale CLs that have both "CCM" on the undercuff, as well as the "U+CL" embroidery on the side, and a pair of Norfolk Admirals CLs with just "CCM" on the undercuff.

 

I am leaning heavily towards believing that these are in fact pro stock CLs, since a CHL pair would have the kevlar patches on the palms, and some would have certain leather portions on the outer shell. And these are definitely not a retail pair from my multiple experiences of owning CLs.
