Hey guys I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I have always been hesitant to buy a pro stock jersey since I was unsure about the sizing. I know they go by numbers (50-58?) but how do the numbers relate to the retail sizes (S-XXL)? I always though that a 56 would be on the larger side but I noticed in this pic posted the other day that Hagelin was wearing a 56 and he's not that big.

My size 56's in this jersey are 28" armpit to armpit laying flat, if you want to compare measurements to jerseys that you already own.

Measure armpit to armpit and double it and that's how you get the number size.

In general:
52-L (26" pit to pit)
54-XL
56-2XL

It seems that the Edge jerseys run about a size smaller than traditional cuts. I could never wear a 56 in the older cut. But can wear them In the Edge cut due to the taper. Hope this helps!

Depends how you like to wear your jersey.
Keep in mind Hagelin has some big shoulders on and is tucking his jersey.
I like my jerseys on the more fitted side but I'm 5'9" 185 and wear a 54 but can also fit in a 52

I'm 5'8", 180 and a 56 was fine for me. The sleeves were maybe 1/2" long. I prefer mine to be loose.

Thanks guys! Sounds like I should try looking for a 52-54 for the best fit then. I'm 5'9 165 and I do wear shouldies, small ones though. I would prefer a better fitting jersey but I guess if I find a nice 56 then i will be alright.

I heard that the only difference between a 58 and 58+ was the length. Not 100% sure if that is true, just what I heard.

Can anyone tell me if the newer edge practice jerseys run bigger than the older style edge practice jerseys? These are the styles I'm comparing just for reference. Obviously these are different sizes, but the newer style seems like a looser cut.

On my 1.0 pros and my 2.0+ pros, I can barely tell the difference. Maybe slightly more room under the arms.

If I'm 6'2 180, will a 58 be good?

I'm 6'3, 210. 58 is too big for me. I wear a 56 almost perfectly.

They will fit similar.  The materials will be different though.  The newer practice jerseys went back to air-knit.

Just make sure its a new style one.  I got nhl jersey 54 from 2008 and i can swim in it (i'm 5'9 190).  Its way too big.

New style reeboks 54 and 56 are perfect.  The 54 is identical as a XL retail jersey so snug fit for me.
