This kid is pretty impressive.

Sure has got the skills down pat. The rest of the players will take more time to develop theirs so there is going to be quite a gap with the average. This allows 1 to maybe 3 kids to "feast" as I call it. I help coach our novice team ages 7 to 8 & we played Nanaimo in a game. they had two kids on defence that could go end to end and roof it. The score of the game was something like those two 12 our team 1.

Best part of the video is that the kid actually passes too. In most of these highlight videos of younger kids like that, the kids seem like puckhogs. Good to see this kid dish it off.

Yeah these novices I coach, they can't work their edges properly, or say skate backward & turn, but holy man the celebrations I've seen are over the top.
