Sorry if this has been asked before boys but the search function doesn't cooperate on my phone.

Heading up to toronto this weekend to fill-in on my friends team for a few games. What are the best places to check out for sticks? I've heard Majer and SFS/Just Hockey. Is there anywhere else in the area I should check out?

Not sure I should answer you since you didn't include the ladies in your post haha... Totally kidding.

- Majer is the BEST for sticks, expensive side ($170-180) but they'll give a deal depending.

- Dukes SFS has some great sticks and gloves - I've picked up a ton of things for members on here from that store

- Toronto Hockey Repair just got a ton in as well

Cheers :) enjoy the dot!

Just had a pair of pants fixed at Toronto hockey repair like 2 weeks ago. They did have some pro stock sticks but they were charging retail prices on them.

if you go to THR have your skates sharpened by Bryden, he does a great job. he's usually there. if you say you were sent there by 'scotty whitegloves' he might even shoot you a bit of a deal.

Thanks for advice there everyone. I ended up picking up two Bauer prostocks from Dukes. Both are 95 flex, g3, dressed as totalones. One is a Hnidy with a curve very similar to the pro versteeg, the other is a Skille which is a Drury.

Used both of them over the weekend and they are both fantastic to the point where my RS2 will be in the for sale section tomorrow.

Best part of the trip, we're undefeated so far.

$270 out the door for both. I think they are normally $150 a piece.  It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but finding my exact specs on a pro stock Bauer, especially with one being silver and one being red graphics, which are my favs, was worth it to me.

I almost bought a Colton Orr RBZ from the Just Hockey SFS on Don Mills, but they wouldn't budge off the $200 price tag, and I didn't want to drop that much on just one stick.

Yeah great deal .... Even $150 is a great deal.
That used to be just hockey's price , but not any longer.

Can't beat $270 for 2 sticks ... I have never been to dukes. I will check them out next time.

Thanks
