Reebok 852T materials/made where? Comparison to Reebok (Made in Canada) 852.

19 March 2015 - 04:19 PM

So, I've been in a Made in Canada pair of Reebok 852 Sty4 that I got at the University of Michigan gear sale 2 years ago. I've never had a better glove. The fit is perfect and the quality is unparalleled. I recently picked up a pair of Reebok 852T (Sty2) AHL returned. I find that the inner lining isn't as big as the Made in Canada pair and the inside materials feel a bit cheaper. The glove also looks bigger overall but it might just be how the style is. Though they are pro stock, I just question a bit of the materials. Also, the cuff is way more wide open than the Made in Canada pair (pictured) though it probably won't make much of a difference and actually may be a bit more mobile. The back cuff is also way higher that could interfere with my Reebok 8K elbow pads...we'll see. The Reebok Pro logo is different; on the royal pair it's screen printed but is sewn on the Michigan pair. I guess I'm just trying to get some convo going about the differences between the two pair. Opinions and what not. I think I'll love the 852T but just a little different than what I'm used to.

Reebok Pro 8K Elbow Pad Fit

17 February 2015 - 05:53 PM

I just got my elbow pads in the mail. I'm 6' 180lbs. I normally wear a medium (currently in a CCM U+ Pro). I ordered a size 5 but am now wondering if I should return them and try to hunt for a size 4, even though it's like finding a needle in a haystack. The forearm and middle strap seem fine but the bicep seems to be a bit loose. Anyone else have a similar experience? I'm worry they could slide a bit after being broken in. I don't want to void my return and wear them yet so figured I'd ask the board. I've seen similar posts on ModSquad but nothing conclusive where I could tell one way or the other. Thanks all!

Reebok 852 Calgary Flames 14" ($65 shipped)

12 January 2015 - 05:17 PM

Recently picked up a pair of 14" Reebok 852's from another user. The lining has been cut out and I've no use for these gloves now. I paid $75 and am looking to just get back $65. There is also a hole in the thumb I did not know about (pictured). They are still a great glove but I prefer my gloves to have the liner.

I'll ship these out immediately.

Warrior Luxe 14" Red/Black/White $65

09 January 2015 - 12:56 PM

Used these for a season of men's. Tacki Mac grips on my sticks so the palms are 9.5/10. Minimal wear on the leather (noted in a couple of pictures). I just have no need for these anymore and they've been sitting in my garage. A fantastic glove but I prefer a 4-Roll fit. I would compare these to a fit between 4-Roll and a Vapor.

Looking to get $65 + shipping.
