Early 2000s MIC Eagle shoulders. It definitely doesn't have all the protection of todays stuff. To me todays stuff is too bulky. Wore them playing, and now in what I call "semi" check (no open ice). Low profile, move with the body, and can add sternum and spine protection to them. I personally can't wear anything else.

I've done it multiple times, with a seam ripper. Simple and takes little to no time. Never done it to the pair you have linked though, so can't 100% confirm for them.

I'm in the same boat for Whalers gloves, as my team just switched color scheme. These just look so cheap. It's sad to see where Warrior has gone, compared to when the Montreal factory was running.
