For a fresh example, here's a jersey I stripped today.
Overall crest came off pretty cleanly, but the perimeter was stuck pretty good so there was a lot of pills/pulling along with a handful of glue marks
Went over any glue marks with acetone, then flattened the jersey and went over the perimeter with a fabric shaver. After that I pressed it with an iron. This is the result:
Next I'll throw it in the wash, then the dryer for maybe 5 minutes and press it again. Chances are there will still be a faint outline of the crest somewhere, but for the most part it will be unnoticeable. I plan on using this jersey for pickup hockey so even as-is I'm satisfied.
To go into more detail on how I apply acetone, I put a towel on the inside of the jersey, splash one swig of acetone on the specific glue mark I'm working on, use a toothbrush to work in the acetone around the glue mark and the fabric (to prevent staining). The glue mark may rub off using the toothbrush or I may need to pick at it with my fingernail. But that's all there is to it. It takes a while so don't think you're going to finish the whole crest in 5 minutes, but work on it section by section and you'll get there.
This is the acetone I use: https://www.homedepo...QAC18/100144922
This is the fabric shaver I use: https://www.target.c...er/-/A-50704819
Im going to give that a run and see what happens. I think i have just been trying with the wrong tools.
Thanks again to everyone for the responses

Dichloromethane is the nuclear option. It’s the only thing that will get that white cement off every time. Only use it on darks though.
Thanks for the responses fellas!
Fooj: What was your method of using it? Let it sit and then what did you use to scrape it off?

I picked one up off of sideline swap a couple of months back and i was unimpressed. Stick handling was improved because of the weight of the stick, but the blade felt pretty soft. I played just a few games with the stick and there was a major gash in the middle of the blade. I would bend the blade a bit with my hands to test the durability and to see if i could continue to use it, but i dint like the sounds or look of it (it thought it would break any second). None the less, i didn't feel comfortable using it so I sold it. I wouldn't waste your money.

I have Kuzy's Adidas locker room hoodie. Its a Large, but fits more like a medium. No holes, rips, smells or anything. Id love to own it, but it's too small for me. I received this from someone within the organization so I am assuming he wore it. Text with questions or more pics 202 8780871

What’s up Sports2k Fam,
I wanted to revive this thread a bit and see what other folks have come up with that works or didn’t work.
I recently picked up several caps practice Jerseys and wanted to a crest removal a try. I decided to try the Navy uni. As you can see in the photo. It didn’t go to well. To say that this was frustrating is an understatement.
For me the methods used were:
I was looking into trying chemicals to remove the residue, but wasn’t sure exactly where to start.
I was wondering what process you all have had success with and which team? I figured that a more circular logo team would be a bit easier to pull off?
