#67969 Elbows - 9177 Pro (size 6) and a couple retail

Posted by kaaayelll on 11 November 2012 - 06:17 PM in Protective Gear - For Sale

I've been out of the market for a bit, so I'm not too sure of values. Feel free to make offers. BTW, the two retail pads are great pads...just have too much stuff and want to get rid of some.

#51759 New York Islanders Sale

Posted by kaaayelll on 22 August 2012 - 11:49 PM in Pro Equipment Sales

I'll be on LI on Friday and might have some time to pass by. If anybody is looking for anything, let me know. I popped in for the first time a week ago and they had gloves at about $125, a few pairs of 15" shins for $60, some shoulders (not sure of price), and a handful of sticks (same). Everything was used, in decent-to-good condition. I can't stand gloves with any crustiness to them, so I wasn't interested, but the shins were in pretty good shape save for slight liner separation at the seams. Also, I think I saw one pair of JT gloves, but I assume they were more expensive.

#51221 Easton Pro Stock Gloves

Posted by kaaayelll on 20 August 2012 - 04:41 PM in Pro Stock Hockey Gear

I would say the 800s are closer in feel to Franchises.

I have noticed the Eastons don't have poly inserts on the fingers on top, just retail Franchises

Poly should be in the middle of the pad. You can feel it if you squeeze the side of the fingers.

#51216 Aaron Voros Easton Gloves - Maple Leafs

Sold

#51198 Aaron Voros Easton Gloves - Maple Leafs

Posted by kaaayelll on 20 August 2012 - 02:15 PM in Gloves - For Sale

I'm not really sure how EPros are defined anymore. I have a bunch of pairs that I once thought were EPros, and these feel very similar. I was told that these are 900s. Maybe someone can help me on the difference between 800s, 900s, and EPros. Nonetheless, these feel amazing and are really light.

Bought a pair of Jofa elbows from him. Excellent all around...would definitely deal with again.

#49032 Easton Pro Stock Gloves

Posted by kaaayelll on 10 August 2012 - 11:11 AM in Pro Stock Hockey Gear

Guys, what's the difference between 900 and 800? They look the same to me, save for maybe a slant in the cuff. Also, does anybody have positive experience getting 800 or 900 cuffs shortened? Thanks.

#38050 Easton Pro Stock Gloves

Posted by kaaayelll on 14 June 2012 - 09:55 PM in Pro Stock Hockey Gear

EqPro is the newer version of the retail E-Pro, both made in China :)

Yeah, and now they're using a silver liner on those, too (trying to fool us?). I just wasn't sure if there was a made-in-Canada version under the same name. Thanks.

#37961 Looking for MLX SKATES

Posted by kaaayelll on 14 June 2012 - 02:23 PM in Gear wanted

They only made whole sizes (unless you find a pro stock). Check eBay; a pair just sold for $150. Otherwise, it looks like size 9 is still available on their site. E-mail them and I bet you can get a good deal.

Does the EQPro follow on the E-Pro in that there is a retail version and a version made in Canada?

Congrats! It's awesome stuff. I have three - a soon-to-be-11 yr old boy, a 9 yr old girl, and a 6 yr old girl. My son plays travel hockey, and my two girls play rec as of now. olioli's comment above is right on. Enjoy!

#34692 Jofa 9177 Pro

for the record: in my opinion size 6 elbows fit just like size 5

What's your height/weight?

#20831 MIA Habs AK27 Pro

This can be locked up...I'm leaving and can't get them anymore.

#20766 MIA Habs AK27 Pro

Posted by kaaayelll on 17 March 2012 - 07:40 PM in Gloves - For Sale

Didn't notice Kovalev or Commander, but wasn't looking. They had a $230 price tag and said Pro on the tag. They definitely didn't feel like the retail models I've tried, but other than that, I don't know. I'm happy to go over there, check them out again, and respond to specific questions from anybody who's seriously interested and can respond very quickly.

#20750 MIA Habs AK27 Pro

Posted by kaaayelll on 17 March 2012 - 06:10 PM in Gloves - For Sale

They're definitely AKs...sorry I didn't get a shot of the back, but they have the sublimated AK graphic.

#20677 MIA Habs AK27 Pro

Posted by kaaayelll on 17 March 2012 - 10:50 AM in Gloves - For Sale

Guys, just saw some MIA Blue/Red/White AK27 Pro gloves in 13" and 14" at a shop. I'll be around until Sunday morning if anybody wants me to pick them up. They do have the sublimated graphics, but are not the same as other AK27s I've seen. You guys probably know more than I do about them. They'll be $150+ shipping (unless someone wants to pay more :) ) Here's pics:
