Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Detroit is about halfway to Troy for me, so that's good news too.

Another year, another disappointment. Left empty handed. All gloves and helmets were $225+ with a couple $175 sprinkled in. Crazy that they charge these prices for players a lot people haven't even heard of.
Didn't see any (adidas) practice jerseys and they wanted $45 for RR socks. The ones with one silver stripe.
Heard a guy tell another guy that they had a Mike Green jersey, then tell his boy to forget it because they wanted two grand for it.

Prices are stuck back in their Cup winning years apparently...

let me hear what you guys want the prices to be?
For me, the difference is between setting prices for people to either continue using the equipment or collect it as memorabilia. The Red Wings seem to exclusively cater to the latter camp. In my case, why wouldn't I want to just buy a pair of D-Boss gloves from PSH or whatever for $150-$200 bucks (brand new) rather than $375 for beat up ones because they come with a LOA. I get that he's the closest thing the Wings have to a star player, but come on.
We should be able to get things for half off if we forgo the LOA.
Maybe I'm spoiled by the U of M sale. They have gloves for like $50-$100, pants around the same. Everything is cheap enough that I stock up every year, even though I don't really need anything. I'm someone who already has a Wings kit and I'm just not interested in a $200+ helmet, especially when it was worn by some player I've barely heard of and has a giant decal from a mortgage company on it.
