Just wondering if you seen a difference in the price for hockey gear in the US since the tariffs are higher?

With the 104% on China and 25% Mexico, the sticks should cost more since the majority of them are made in China.

Just a question. It early too in Canada, but didn't see for now that the price is higher.

I wouldn’t think most shops would see a difference until summer/fall booking season. Most of their inventory at this time of year has been around quite a while.

Good Idea; Whistling while you work.

Bad Idea; Whistling while you eat.

It might not have happened, yet, but it will. I work in sporting goods (non-hockey) and we're looking at passing along huge price increases for our Chinese-made products.

There's no way we could absorb a 150% tariff. There's no way anyone can unless your margins were insane already.

I ordered Bauer Pro Custom skates in February and I've been stressing over whether I'm going to get hit with extra tariffs when they arrive from Canada. I think skates are exempt due to the USMCA, but I don't think sticks shipped from Canada would be.

Better not order CCM skates. They will charge for the Step Steel blades.

So my MIC Bauer skates arrived without any tariffs, but has anyone in the US had pro stock sticks (made in China) shipped from Canada in the past couple weeks? I'm assuming they'd get hit with the 100+% tariff on Chinese goods.
