great idea - i'd love to play.

why limit to 15? 20 skaters is the most ideal number for a fast game. two complete changes.

try george bell for reasonable cost ice, it's a good size rink with good ice also. moss park is fine but it's small ice and small rooms.

i meant 20 skaters total. 10 per side. 2 changes. 15 guys is fine too but 18-20 always seems to make a better game.

I think powerade in Brampton is $150-$175 hr, if you say you play in true north they give it cheaper. Sometimes you can get the battalion ice too but i don't know if you can rent ice in the day time there, I think it's only at night. And 20 total is a good number

Even crappy rinks out here are like 275$ +tax

Canlan rinks are cheap on Sundays I think ... Etibicoke is right off the highway. Good for those coming from west and not
Too far west for those coming in from the east.

I'd prefer a Sunday.

I book ice on a regular all around GTA its a crap shoot sometimes it depends on the time also..
Also some rinks require insurance purchased which brings price up.
I got a list of preferred rinks, with good facilities.

Ev NYR ...... I used to go all the time about 10-12 years ago , it was always good hockey with alot of guys.
I can't remember One time it was dead.

Nice! When I'm home for the summer almost every chance they have. Not a lot of people usually come but I bring 6 so it helps haha. Depending on the night and when in the summer really

Scarb is really close for me, I just drive right up Markham. And there have been some DEAD nights in recent years. 

 

However, I'm always up for the late night drive along the 401 for hockey. If something like Etob canlan is more central - boom, count me in.

 

(Although Im out of the country for 95% of May - so June, boom!)

I'm in! Definitely wouldn't mind CanLan etobicoke since I work at the airport... But any GTA is good with me.

Iceland in mississauga at 403 and matheson has cheap ice on weekends.
