Never forgot it , at the same time I don't recall ever been hit in that area either so p,aging without one , not so bad.

I can prob remember getting hit with a puck once in all my hockey growing up and beer now.
On the other hand, I have got sticked with someones blade in the jewels more than once. Mouths run and sometimes ppl see that as a good way to get back. Sucks.
I have never forgot my jock. Cup yes and a buddy had a spare.
Have seen elbow padding from an old set found in lost in found used and lots of shin tape to rig almost a full underwear haha.

^ what you mean Irish all of us in here play everytime we go out on ice without a CUP!

Our backup goalie for university team lost his after a road trip and didn't realize until game day, he stuffed about 8 Gatorade towels down his pants and prayed to God he didn't have to play. I'm almost positive he sweat more than our starter.

Thanks to this thread, starting tonight I pulled my old jock out of the closet and put it in the bottom of my bag. I with Brian and Sort of Irish...think I'd just not play, so I want to avoid having to make that decision.

...Thoreson was wearing a jock. It broke if I remember correctly.
Always loved the guy...wish he would come back, but he's too good in the K.

Don't know what you boys are using but I coulda used a slice of that fuckin meatloaf the old lady served for supper tonight, shit was hard as rock. 
Aint no slapper out there gonna bust that beef let me tell ya.

Hahaha. Good stuff Hab. Kid on my team forgot his last night. Stuck an elbow pad between 2 jerseys folded open and stuffed it down there. Said it stayed put all game too
