Surprised no one talked about Buffalo firing their GM and Coach.
He had only been the GM for 16-17 years.
OMG that was the best thing that could of happened. I love the move and very happy with them bringing back Patty and Nolan to help lead this team to better days.

You know, had the NHL not locked out, OV could be challenging for 500 goals this year instead of possibly next.
He lost 116 games to the lockout, which would have put his total right now, at his current pace, to 477 goals instead. He'd also be challenging for 1000 points next year. He would have 917 points at his current pace if he didn't lose out on those 116 games.

From watching the bruins play, Reilly smith has really grown on me.
Absolutely. He has had quite a few flashes of skill that have made him stick out. The combination of him and Eriksson seems to make the Seguin trade a little better overall than when everyone was talking about it basically as a straight-up comparison of Eriksson for Seguin. He's young and talented and seems to be getting more and more comfortable every game.

Mark Pysyk just had the goal of the year tonight against the Coyotes.
