Just watched episode #1, I honestly didnt find it that interesting.

 

Maybe the Habs version 24CH is that much better?

 

It seemed heavily edited in comparison to previous years, just my thoughts though.

Wysh on Puck Daddy had a pretty good review.  Summerizing my thoughts on the first episode so far.

I've always loved the 24/7 episodes. They're always edited very well along with a good proper mix of music and nice cinematography. 

 

I watch a lot of boxing so everytime i knew they'd produce on on Mayweather i knew how awesome it would be (Now he's on Shotime all access and it's not the same).

 

The leafs episode definitely did not disappoint. It was also pretty cool to see places that are minutes from me on such a big tv show.

You know, these two teams could be doing something fucking GREAT for the league with this show, showcasing two original 6 franchises.  Helping give exposure of the two franchises.  Exposure hockey needs to compete with the other top sports in North America.  WHAT do they do instead.

 

Essentially kill 24/7 in the second episode.  The leafs captain is a floating log in a pool of beavers.  Thats about as exciting as he is.

 

Both teams are losing which happens.  But

Crosby was calling Kadri a dummy as well as a joke. Crosby/Phaneuf are pals outside of hockey.

Kadri is a joke. Even Carlyle thinks so. He does have a sick apartment though.

I really was hoping for more out of this episode. right now these guys are just as dull as the Rangers and Flyers were a couple of years ago. are the
Pens and Caps just that much more entertaining or have we just been subjected to the 4 most boring teams the last 2 times.

 

note to whomever's directing: ease up on all the slo-mo walking.
