I sympathize with Habs fans, losing a hot goalie is always a set back - and you never want to see a player injured no matter what team or situation.

However, anyone who thinks Kreider did that on purpose is simply an idiot who can't separate their fandom from reality.

Of course he did not do that on purpose BUT as you know it is REALLLLLY easy to crash the net hard and sometimes you will get touched/grabbed/hooked and you will smash the goalie.  9 times out of 10 there will be a contact with the goalie.  Accidental or not.

Like i said he did not do this on purpose but he didn't do nothing to avoid the contact.  Some will say that is a good thing.  Why not.

I would be surpised tho if tonigh things escalate when a habs will crash the net and "accidently" touches Lundquist.  It would be pretty stupid of them but would also proove my point as you can crash the net and accidently touch the goalie.  Every goalie in the world has experienced that.

sucks big time! Price was having a pretty unbelievable year with the Olympics and his play throughout the playoffs.

I think the Habs just need to use this emotion properly and play the way they can and not try to run Lundqvist..

tokarski better play over budaj

No way tokarksi starts over budaj unless he blows the next 2 games and montreal is down 0-3. I think everyone will rally for Budaj because he appears to be well liked (from how it appears on 24ch) and the habs will play the way they can without stupid turnovers, lost battles and blown coverage.

Unfortunate injury.  I don't think Kreider slid into him on purpose, he was trying to score and stuff happens.

I'll be interested in the "accidently on purpose" conversation though, as I'm pretty sure this discussion went the other way with Habs fans when Subban dislodged the goal in the Boston series.

tokarski better play over budaj

how is tokarski vs. budaj in rebound control?  Or just a better goalie?   I know budaj as he played well in a back up roll gave up a bunch of rebounds/

someone on another board posted this which part of it made me LOL:

I've heard from a pretty reliable source that they are going to go with Dustin Tokarski over Peter Budaj. Tokarski is a very interesting goalie. He plays, and looks for that matter, like it is 1987. He's got the athletic ability of a house plant, but somehow he stops pucks. His technique and position are phenomenal, but he looks like a fish out of water when he has to make a reactionary save.

take it for what it's worth.....

tokarski better play over budaj

@DarrenDreger: I will join those speculating Dustin Tokarski gets the start tonight. Not convinced, but signs are pointing in that direction.

Well it doesn't take a hockey expert to know you will not beat the kind 4 out of 5 games. Budaj is a huge beauty but I don't know if he can win 4 out of 5 against the king.

I thought Tokarski was just ok, no great like you'd expect from a Playoffs goalie. Ludqvist, on the other hand, was spectacular! I smell a sweep!
