Visited Pat and Ken at their shop and had a grand time discussing the fine points of hockey gloves and the hockey industry.
Watched Pat in action as he worked on a new cuffs for two pairs for a customer: a custom Yakupov+Hossa cuff on one set (left) and an Easton cuff on the other (right).
Here's a closer look at the custom Yakopov+Hossa cuff. Notice the split cuff (Yakupov) and the tapering under-cuff (Hossa).
We also discussed different palm features. Since I've had trouble finding this information online, here's what Pat explained to me about palm durability and thickness.
DURABILITY (from most durable to least durable):
- Nash (most durable)
- micronash
- pearl mustang
- kangaroo / yellow mustang / digital (least durable)
THICKNESS (from thickest to thinnest):
- Nash (thickest)
- pearl mustang
- digital
- kangaroo / yellow mustang / micronash (thinnest)

I'm hoping too. Looking for a black/forrest green glove, but can't find any. And I don't really want the THS Hossa specs gloves...Gusset height were reduced to narrow height. Hoping Dallas goes to a color scheme like this for their gloves.
CCM TACKS 80 flex LH Kreps
Purple or green gloves
purple practice jersey
