Sent a couple pairs to Pat to be redone. Asked for nash with nash grip overlay.
Great turnaround time, fast responses to emails and good communication. End result is cosmetically very well done and it works great, used both pairs over the last couple of days. Definitely could pass for a stock job. Very professionally put together.

I also had a duty fee. I had it listed as a return for repair on my usps label. After I figure out the right way to ship without getting duty fees I'll post it.
Pat told me that most of these guys are sending it valued at $50 or below. Super risky to avoid a duty fee.
The only other option would be to send it as a gift...

Got these back from Pat
When they first came in, gloves were REALLY stiff, both index were rotating outwards wich made me play on the gusset, Gloves were HOT as hell with the all leather construction and no ventilation through the gussets
Went with white mesh gussets to get more air flow and some double layer Beige micronash for that retro look (didnt wanna go Mustang as the gloves are already hot as they are now)

guys for shipping you can always mark the box as gift, mark the value at 50 dollars or less... and then buy insurance for like 100 dollars
the insurance value and declared value are apples and oranges. and even if they open your box the customs will have no idea how much value the gloves actually have anyway.
source: a canadian living abroad in the states that been sending stuff back and forth for the last 10 years
ps: make sure to go usps so theres no brokerage fees either.
