I'm sure it's been asked, but are these tourneys still fun if you go solo? im definitely interested but can't really get any of my hockey friends to hop on board for a weekend. Being from Chicago many of these locations are appealing.
I just did the tourney in Montreal and you can definitely go alone. You will meet everyone the night of the draft and people go eat and hang out together since you're all staying at the same hotel.

Me too... although Im going to Boston next week to tour the rink ... and ya know spend time with my wife ( and eat Lobster Rolls!)
I'm pretty jacked for Boston. Less than 30 spots left for the tourney and it's only been up for 1 day.
How many spots left for Boston?

I did my first tourney fully solo, it was great. Everyone is pretty amazing and there to have fun. Have a lot of drinks on draft night and get to know your team. Highly recommend a weekend.

Any chance you might bring one to Detroit?
Working with the Joe to make it happen.
Also... I want to be adamant when I say you should go to a travel one. I love tourneys but the one in my hometown is by far my least favorite. You don't get the hotel antics or the hanging with the team all night bc you don' have to be home.
