Hows it looking for Pittsburgh so far ?
We need 40 locals for it to be a go. We are at 11. We have a bit over a month to make the call.

Didn't work out for timing... Pittsburgh did though.. Why not make the trip? Being out of town for these is the full experience anyway.

I'm considering Pittsburgh, but it gets more difficult with travel and childcare. Might be able to make it, but can't commit at this point. As far as a future Philly tournament goes, IceWorks is a nice barn (having 4 sheets is a big plus), but one of my teammates is the ops manager at Flyers SkateZone Pennsauken if alternate venues could help.

Alternate venues would help but they have to have time available in times other than June and July. Every rink wants us to bring our event to their barn but they only want us to bring it when they aren't busy. Sadly our tournament schedule is packed in the summer already. Starting in June we have 5 tourneys in 7 weeks.

Finally got another S2k'er out to another Draft Tourney this past weekend in Toronto! I'll let him share his experience. Hopefully more will join us in Pittsburgh or Montreal.

Thanks for the post Nickerjones. Had an absolute blast! Highly recommend this tournament. Most fun I've had in hockey in a long time.
