I may not be the sharpest craftsmen in the shed or have the buffest Internet tough guy muscles, but I checked my Pro Stock privilege and realized I was getting an opportunity to buy stuff I never normally would and at a great price to boot.

 

Not to mention I did have a lovely conversation with the sweet lady manning the phones up there in Calgary. As a matter of fact, I believe she could probably teach us all a thing or three about class.

 

Also I wasn't blessed to be one of the few people in this world who are perfect and never make a mistake so when my order arrived and I realized some things were incorrect I shrugged my shoulders and went on with life. 

 

And at the end of the day after all that I am still contemplating calling them back and making another order.

I got exactly what I ordered too! Pretty great service and great prices! My Brouwer 1X's had a back hand pad with an added extra right pinky finger guard on the left hand (to protect a broken pinky maybe) which I just removed due to lack of mobility, but still have pictures I'll try to post later.

Nice pickup, Dupes!  Interesting where the trainer modded the rib pads on these.. I have a pair of modded Nexus 'Canes Nexus pants in the rib area myself, and I absolutely love the fit of them!  Makes them much more easy to maneuver around in, and I actually prefer the Nexus looser fit over the tighter One95 surprisingly a lot more now! Awesome gloves to match too!!!

I just talked to Paula yesterday and they are closed until mid July but if you get an email or voicemail in with an order they will record the time received and sudo hold things. They ship anywhere north America as far as I know.

Just more reasonable dealing with them instead of paying 200% plus markups.

My order arrived last week and my gloves were supposed to be 14" retro coverts but instead 13" with no liners showed up. I ordered 4 pairs of socks only received 3, my leg pads came with skate cuts when I was told they only had puck marks, my VH skates arrived with a broken tendon guard....

I fell your pain NYIslanders...caution - some guys here will start to come after you because they believe you should accept your wrong order and just be happy 😉 Having said that, I did call to see what they could do for my wrong order, and they were accommodating, so just give them a buzz after Stampede (7/17). Good luck!

They gave me a $100 cad refund to accept the damaged skates and wrong gloves. They said the wear in my leg pads is "normal use". I guess how would I know I'm only a goalie

Glad to hear their customer service is great. Buying used gear without pictures can be difficult.

The first I placed with them I was disapointed in the wear of the stuff I received too.

Just a heads up and a couple pointers to anyone putting in an order..

Use the rc# when picking gear
Do not say black v08. They have no clue.
This gear is all used well if it isn't marked new
I was at the sale for over 4 hours and looked at damn near everything if you'd like to know condition of specific things and I remember them I'll help best I can.
Do not rely on them knowing anything about hockey gear. They do not. Half of the gear is marked wrong whether it be model or size.
The skates were almost all very well used the vhs in peticular didn't look good.
They don't think about it as useable gear it's "collectors items" hence why nicer gear to us is cheaper than the shitty lame gear that's high priced.

One more thing... it's cheap (even in canada without purchasing with USD) it probably won't be perfect.
