Unfortunately they don't realize a lot of you shot comes from technique, if you took that $400 and invested in some shooting lessons that would do much better than the stick ever could.
Won't lie though a friend of mine picked one up for the hell of it and he seems to like it, he played high level and says it's pretty awesome cause it's super light. People have come up to him a ton though and asked him about it, so if you want that attention then go ahead and cop one.
Looking for BIOSTEEL jersey made by UA or Adidas.
Looking for Bauer Pro defender elbows size Large

So what is so special about this stick material wise? Or did they shave weight by doing with Sherwood did and by making precise cuts and avoid carbon overlap?
I'm used to seeing crazy prices on golf shafts cause they'll claim they are using some other type of carbon fiber/resin etc.

BGP2B = ADV
Some thoughts on the stick: holy shit it's light. And that makes stick handling and shooting movements that much quicker. But there's so little feedback. Puck feel is meh and you can't really "feel" the kick of the stick when you get a good shot off; wobbler or laser both feel the same. If Bauer could find a way to make feel and feedback better, this would probably be the best stick on the market hands down.

Durability?
Seems to have held up well against your standard stick play, no one's tried to lumberjack the thing so far. The blade itself seems pretty durable even after a few aggressive plays on the boards with barely any scuffing on the toe (but I do a full sock tape job so maybe that helps).
A good two hand slash would make that $400 stick become trash...
A good two hand would make any modern stick become trash though.

For those of you that have used both an ADV/BGP2B and the 1x-lite, do they have the same flex profile and kick point, or do they shoot differently?
they have pretty much the same taper so im pretty sure kick point is similar ... been playing with the adv(BGP2B) 82 flex p92 for the last 2 month !
stick is definitely the lightest I've use , so stick handle and everything seems to be easier to do since its lighter ...
down side is definitely the blade feel and durability on the BGP2B ... after a few game pretty much all 3 stick lost their feel and feel kind of dead in the blade.
there is some weird foam noise coming out from the blade when flexing. (last time i saw something like that was on the first apx stick)
that being said , even with that lost of feel its still an amazing stick ... if they tune the blade a bit they might have the best overall stick ever ! After playing with those, its hard to come back to regular high end since they feel pretty much all blade heavy ... but weight is like my biggest factor on a stick ... some person are more picky on other specific thing , but for my self weight and balance is really important and their is no stick matching that balance and weight on the market right now. without even knowing the BGP2B construction , I've received the regular 1x lite that were really light and than receive those and right away i felt the difference.

This was my biggest takeaway, too. I normally use the A6.0 SBP which is another sub-400g stick but it feels *heavy* compared to the ADV.
