Hopefully black is an option. Those stripes are awful.

Looks like there are three different fits so you're able to customize it if you're a vapor/supreme/nexus wearer? Basically putting three lines of skates into one. Also offering new titanium coated steel, quad 4 profile, and regular metal eyelets. All that for 665 pounds which is only $800 USD. I was expecting $1k+. Super tempted to pick up a pair

I'm mildly confused by the whole new "fit" system. Bauer used to have 3 families that came in 2 width's for a total of 6 SKU's. Now they've ditched Nexus and gone to 2 families, with 3 fits... Still 6 sku's. Furthermore, if the reason they ditched Nexus was low volume & sales, if fit 3 is meant to be the "Nexus fit" they really are still going to have the same situation, no? Most people will just end up in fit 1 or fit 2, so 4 SKU's out of 6 will take up the majority of the sales. Same as before.
I'm sure it's being done for cost savings, but I just don't see how it's "revolutionary" like the guy from Hockey Tutorial said as he creamed his pants. The best thing it does it give people who want a Vapor look, to get a more Supreme fit and vice versa. Yeah, that's cool because now you can match your team's uniform or something but to me that's purely cosmetic.

There will be an overall reduction in SKUs by eliminating the Nexus range, even when factoring in the new fit system. Bear in mind the new 'nexus' fit 3 isn't available as an option throughout the Supreme and Vapor lines.
As for the new fit system itself... For sure people prefer the look of certain skates over others, and would want, or even skate in that model because they preferred the look of it even though it should never fit their foot, i'm guilty of wanting a skate that won't fit me. Now at least players can choose the skate they want and for it to fit. Furthermore, in the past the shape of your foot pre-determined which skate you were supposed to fit and wear. I don't think it's a bad thing that you can now choose the skate that best fits your skating style and overall game, and yes, which you prefer the look of and have it fit properly.
Bottom line, as always still get fit properly by someone who knows what they're doing. Even though it's more likely to be able to fit into either, you may not be the same fit in both.

WTF is going on with that tendon guard?
If you flop your tongue, your skate is going to look like a peeled banana.

If only they had the same mentality towards sticks. They should let consumers pick what graphics they want on their custom twigs.

It is the same mentality isn't it? You pick the model based upon performance type that best fits your game, and you customise it to fit you.
You can't have the supreme build and performance in a vapor skate graphic. Same with the sticks.
