Gloves are a miss for me- needs more color- more of the lighter teal and some red - Maybe Navy base glove with teal cuff and red logo.

Hate to say it, but I'm with Monty on this one. I was expecting a bit more flair than that. Solid navy with a light blue logo?   

I do applaud them using the Ultrasonic glove, though. Best glove currently out on the market.

Wait, either Gio flipped completely from CCM to Bauer or they just had him pose in whatever gear they had laying around for the shoot… I’m thinking it’s the latter cuz Eberle has been in a v08 for 2 seasons now and he’s got a Hyperlite on in the picture too :/ Weird they wouldn’t have their own gear yet by now

Yeah, I'd also guess that those were just pieces of equipment they were using strictly for the photoshoot.

Going off on a bit of tangent here, but it seems like very few Flames have worn Bauer gloves in recent years. Pisses me off considering how desperate I am for a pair of 2S or even 1S gloves in that colorway.

Have you come across a pair of pro stocks in the wild yet? I know some guys were using them last season already, buy I just tried on the retails in a local shop last week and they are definitely nice.

Agreed about the gloves and pants being a letdown. While I wasn’t that optimistic about colored fingers like vegas, even a red outline on the cuff roll branding would have made them a lot better. Bland front pants without a logo

Not yet, unfortunately. The pair Gio and Eberle are rocking are the first I've seen. I still prefer the 2S Pros (to the retail Ultrasonics) personally, but if I ever came across pro stock Ultrasonics in my preferred colorway, I doubt I'd be able to resist pulling the trigger on them. After all, I was very skeptical of the 2S Pros at first, but once I tried them on, there was no going back to anything else.

There's a lot to be said for hockey players being creatures of habit and using what they're used to, but I say you should always give new stuff a chance to surprise you.
