Try working for a team. I don't work if there is a lockout.

The season isn't cancelled yet, it would just be trimmed more and more as the lockout drags on. At some point yes, it would be cancelled completly.

We have until 11:59 tonight EST until there is officially a lockout. After that if there isnt an agreement reached within a week Bob Mckenzie said they'll start to cancel exhibition games.

Oilers reassigned yakupov to sarnia(OHL) and he said several times he wont go back, instead he flew home to Russia this afternoon. Guess he will play KHL

It certainly would be interesting to see guys play major junior again, just to see how dominate they would be.

Good to see these guys really care about saving the season, no talks both sides just walk away!!! they should be locked up in a hotel & no leaving til a deal has been done!!! They should take notes from the current negotiations that are going on with the BIG 3 ford, GM, chrysler and the CAW!!

They should do it like the Vatican. Conclave until a decision is reached. They'll sort it out sooner or later

Pre-season games through september 30th cancelled today....Ovechkin saying he could stay in russia after lockout and the NHL telling its workers they'll be reduced to 4 day work weeks and 80% of their pay.

What a day!!
