Agree one hundred percent. It's stupid that a stick would be built for wristers or clappers specifically. As if someone would never have the occasion to use the other one. That's why I think the RBZ60 will be good. It's got the same customizable kickpoint business. The blade won't be the same, and the RBZ blade is lively as fuck, but I suspect the shaft has more to do with the improvement in my shot than does the blade.

Damn. I really have to try one of these if that's the case!

With my 60 I find my shot just comes off harder . I know a new stick plays on your mind at first. Like shit the new feel seems nicer and well new gear is awesome.

The shaft loads like no other. I have some pretty nice saucer passes to my wingers when deep in my own zone playing Center. I didn't cut this stick off at all also . I usually take 2 inches off. Not much.

Well, first try with the RBZ60 tonight and it works just fine, ended up having to play D most of the night in one of our non slap shot leagues. Had plenty of time to get some decent snap shots off and I must say, they were traveling pretty good off this twig, I let a few slap shots go in the pre-game skate just to try it and I'm very happy with it. Moved up later in the game pinching a lot and potted one on a nice snap shot up high, felt pretty good !

No complaints so far on this twig.

p.s. 100 flex cut down to around 107 give or take

Took my RBZ (not the 60) out to SnP this morning. I'm finally over the "this is a new stick so its a game-only stick" phase, so I can practice with it now. I leaned into a few snappers/slappers--got it to kick super hard (for me). Purposefully moved my hand up and down the stick on different shots and got good results. Seems like as long as you focus on actually loading the stick, its going to kick hard for you no matter where you are putting your bottom hand. Bad form is still going to give you a bad shot, but it is MUCH more "forgiving" (to borrow a golf term) than any other stick I've used.

When this one bites it, I'll probably move to an RBZ60 since the RBZ is a pretty price stick for beer league.

At least two people have bought one now because of this thread. CCM owes us royalties.

True, and I'll probably go down and buy one more in a weaker flex too, I gotta break the thought of me needing a stiff 100 plus flex stick to play. I know it will be a bit of getting used to but once I get over the "this feels like a piece of spaghetti in my hand" I'm sure the shots will be more easy to perform with the snap I'm looking for when I do shoot.

Put it this way, if some of the pro's {who have great shots} are using a flex in the 80 range, there's no real reason for a guy like me to be continually using a 100 plus flex twig, it's overkill and the ego is most likely getting in the way of the {overall} better performance I could be getting if I go down.

Amen, Brett. People like to think that a stiff flex equates to strength. It doesn't. It's just preference. Ovechkin is 230lbs and he uses an eighty something flex. And I believe Brett Hull used something in the 60s.

Also, I just ordered an RBZ60 too. The first time I use it will be Can/Am. I'm looing forward to going back to back with it and my RBZ.

 , I'm guessing I know what flex and curve you'll be getting as well. I say good on ya T-man, I'm sure the boys in the pipes on the opposite side of you will be shaking in their blades when they see you coming, fuck I wish I could be there with ya'll.

At Purelife....very good dude, hoping it comes with some guaranteed goals for ya man. :headbang:
