I ordered custom Easton sticks about two years ago. It was in the ballpark of $300/stick at 12 min. Took about 4-6 months to arrive and when they did, a few of them came with manufacturing flaws in the blade, they spelt my last name wrong, and most importantly, the sticks lasted me less than 30 days, sans warranty. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Wouldn't recommend, unless: Full customization and sub $200; otherwise, to a consumer, the price to product longevity is not worth it at $300 a pop. Live and learn, I guess.

That sucks. When I did my TRUE orders they messed up the blade specs the first time around but when I brought that up to them they said they’d exchange the wrong sticks for proper new ones. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever received from any company.

Custom everything.

How much were True customs if you don't mind me asking? Did you have to use stock curves, or were allowed to use the pro database?

Ask Keith from dk but when I ordered them about a year ago it was $210 per min 6. Any curve, they’ll even clone a blade you send them and modify it. It was all included in that price.

Custom everything.

Interesting. When I ordered my warriors. I definitely didn’t pay that price per stick. I was about $100 less ordering through a hook up at a different shop who sadly is getting out of the gear business.

Don't get me wrong, there's wiggle room for sure. But the better the discount the less we get offered because at a certain point it's not worth it. I could place an order for full customs later today if I wanted to but the "employee discount" on a batch isn't worth while compared to other products.

not really a "recent" pick up but I found these while doing a little re-organizing of my collection today.

Thinking of putting some Tuuks on my VH (have the step holders on them now)

What tongue option is that? I got mine before they became true... is that felt thinner than the all black one?

its the white felt but I'm pretty sure its the same as the black felt.   I ordered boots only but True tossed on step holders and steel.   I thought about keeping it really wanted LS edge on there.

The TUUKs with LS4 is a way better option than TRUE holders. I used to work at a hockey store and we got a few TRUE holders back, TUUKs always held up longer.

I've actually had them on for over a year hahaha. Have just seen so many people using Tuuks with them that its making me second guess. I have nothing against the Step, but feel like I might like the Tuuks better.

I love the step runner, so id stick with that and probably go blacksteel.

Oh STEP steel is amazing! (One year warranty over Bauer's three month warranty, too).

I just feel the TRUE holder isn't as good as the TUUKs. You can do TUUK, and order STEP Steel that will fit into it. Most places won't carry it, but you can order straight from STEP.
