Thanks! Quality wise the Qx feel a lot nicer just because of the upgraded materials in comparison. Letang opted out of plastic inserts in the cuff roll and thumb portion on the franchise, whereas the Alpha has them in every area. Both liners are removed. The franchise are 13"s with extended fingers while the alpha are 13"s and feel like they have standard length fingers. Think he prefers tight fit in the fingers. Both are fairly tight fitting with the alpha being the tightest but both have great mobility with the hossa cuff. The Franchise are Unbelievably light. By far the lightest gloves I've ever used.

Interesting note: The blade very faintly has printed on it "Fisher-Mike" I guess denoting it's a Mike Fisher curve clone. Tried to get a good pic of it but it was difficult.

the AX1 Letangs. it didn't help that they were made without liners. they seemed like the least protective gloves ever. no liners, no plastic inserts. I know Letang's not a shot blocker but in this day and age of certain teams requiring shot blocker for even MORE protection I thought it was weird that Letang would want less protection.

 

REAL MIC Franchise were one of the best gloves ever. I'm fortunate enough to own a pair of MIC Letang Franchise and they are awesome!
