Yup, I put it wherever there is tape, then I get a puck and {with pressure} run it along the blade the same way the tape overlays itself at first, preventing the tape from peeling back, after a few swipes I go back and forth then finish with my hands, making sure it's all smooth.

It may be going a little overboard but I do it anyway. :workout:

I use "pro wax" I get it from the Whale and it's a lot harder than normal wax and doesn't come off as thick, but it works better for me. Anyone have an idea of the name?

I use old scented candles the wife has laying around - that way when I "inadvertantly" stick someone in the face, at the very least it smells like a spring meadow.

I use sex wax and it holds up great! ice stays off very well. you can pick it up for $1 in Cali surf shops.

Invictus, if it comes in a small black plastic container you're probably thinking of A&R.

I notice that a lot of pros have what it seems to be a blackish/darkish color on their blades when they use white tape, what kind of wax is this?

I really notice it on Patrick Kane's stick.

Yeah, that is a little different, interested to know what/why.
