I currently use CCM 692 Tacks Pants retail in a size large... They are huge on me and requires suspenders to keep up. They also come up very high, the kidney wrap touches my rib straps on my shoulder pads. Also the bottoms graze the top of my shin guards.

 

I am 5,9" 198pounds and wear a regular fit 34 Jeans.

 

Since I cant try before I buy, what would fit me based on the above comments  520 or 7000 in a size Medium or Large?

Maybe I should go with a 7000 in a large as most people say its a tighter fit.   Maybe a less drastic change than going with a Medium 520 in hopes of a snugger fit over what I have now.

Had a 6'4 friend try on large 7000's and the length was almost good for him.
